
Meet the Team
Jake
To this day, Jake is the longest working educator at Triumph Education, starting over 7 years ago in May 2018. He wanted to fuel his passion for teaching, alongside his Bachelor’s of Secondary Teaching, Jake expanded his English specialisation and has not looked back! Despite being a lead teacher at a renowned Government School in Melbourne’s South-East, he consistently finds time to contribute to the Triumph Education team, extending his students in the one-on-one environment, helping achieve exceptional VCE results for all of his Year 12’s.
Jason
Having completed his Master’s of Teaching at the MGSE (Melbourne Graduate School of Education) - Melbourne University, Jason’s high level of English mastery is unrivalled. In only six short months of tutoring, he has supported over 14 students in over 200 lessons… and counting! With over 80% of his students completing their VCE in 2024, their vital years of English have been well support as Jason’s Lead English teacher position at a Government High School in Melbourne’s Southeast keeps him up to date with evolving changes to the VCAA curriculum.
Holly
Following her passion in the Education field, Holly was in her final year of the Bachelors of Secondary Teaching at Monash when she joined the Triumph Education team in 2023. Being a motivated and inquisitive pre-service teacher, she even decided to explore her passion into the Primary sector, coaching students as young as Grade 4 and helping with the basic building blocks of spelling and numeracy. She even managed to fit in International Dancing Competitions in the USA whilst she nurtured young minds with her teaching at Triumph Education.
Arnie
Despite starting his tutoring journey at Triumph Education in the middle of the the Covid lockdowns of 2021, Arnie quickly managed to further his passion of teaching with us. Having already started his Bachelors of Secondary Teaching that very year, Arnie loved the idea of delivering tailored, one on one classes to his students. He was able to hone his skills , specifically to the needs of his students, and managed to complete nearly 200 lessons with his cohort of students. Also being fluent at Japanese, Arnie travelled to Japan in 2024 to teach English to High School Students.
Edwin
Having specialised in Mathematical Methods, Specialist Maths and Chemistry during his senior years of High School in 2020 and 2021, Edwin furthered his understanding in the sciences whilst at Triumph Education. One of his major accomplishments with us is having coached a young lady from Mac. Robertson Girls’ High School in Year 11, starting of with D+ averages, to an A standard in only 8 months!
Keiron
Being the first tutor to join the team, back in May 2014, Keiron started his journey specialising in VCE Biology. His Bachelors Degree of Teaching at Monash soon helped him gain experience through the near 520 lessons he conducted at Triumph Education. Keiron soon refined his passion of learning with a Bachelors of Psychology and eventually a Masters in Psychology and finished up with us in late 2017 having influenced man students in his three and a half years of tutoring,
Rohan
Being the most prolific educator at Triumph Education and the Mathematics Specialist of the team, Rohan has completed over 1,400 lessons as of July 2024! Having started in January 2020, Covid lockdowns were no hindrance to him as his remote classes were conducted with ease. Rohan pursued his love of Criminology at Monash, completing his Honours and eventually, his Masters in 2023. When he’s not busy extending students and inspiring young minds, he’s buying and selling cars as his passion for luxury Japanese cars fills his Sunday’s!
Haleema
Despite only joining the Triumph Education in September 2019 as a tutor, Haleema was actually tutored herself by Shannon back in 2009 when she was in Primary School! The coincidental run in 10 years later, was the trigger she needed to take the next step to working with young minds to helping her grow her love for social work and psychology. Her Master’s Degree in 2023 furthered her love for education and social support for adolescent individuals. Having led an astonishing 950 lessons and counting, in her 5 years with us, Haleema has not left a single stone unturned with her experience ranging from Grade 3 maths to VCE English.
Adithi
Jumping into the team straight after High School, Adithi wanted to complement her Bachelor of Arts and Secondary Teaching degree through some tutoring and coaching experience. She has always been passionate about teaching, even securing a part time position at Kumon, whilst still in High School herself! Her easy-going nature has made it a seamless process when supporting Primary School students as her relatability has supported nearly a dozen students in her first six months at Triumph Education.
Ovin
During his three years at Triumph Education from 2017-2019, Ovin managed to coach students from Mentone, Narre Warren South to Pakenham, leading well over 250 lessons! Whilst completing his Bachelors Degree in Radiology at Monash University, he fostered his nurturing side, coaching and tutoring students in Primary School during his time at Triumph Education. His favourite part of each lesson was hearing about the adventures, his students would get up to in the school yard at lunchtime, often reminding his adult mindset of the childhood bliss we all once experienced.
Nigel
Landing himself in the top 1.5% of the state with his exceptional ATAR score in 2022, Nigel is pursuing the complexities of Actuarial Science at Monash University. He felt that his extraordinary mathematical and scientific skills could be utilized to impart wisdom, encouragement and guidance to other High School students. This is exactly what he did! In just the first 11 months of tutoring, Nigel conducted over 320 lessons in the Berwick, Officer and Pakenham area!
Ciara
The journey for Ciara started in 2016 as a student of Triumph Education, all the way back when she was in Grade 6! We spent the next 7 years tutoring her across English, Maths, Science, VCE Biology and VCE Further Maths. She eventually graduated High School with an exception ATAR Score, securing her a position At Monash University, studying Psychology. She wanted to give back and help students, similar to her and she started running her own classes in 2023! Talk about a full circle!
Ranya
Starting in early 2022, Ranya jumped straight into classes in the Endeavour Hills and Hampton Park area. Balancing a double degree in Commerce and Information Technology, later, the Arts, all at Monash, she supported a wide range of students and subjects. Her Internship at Deloitte didnt slow her down with nearly 200 lessons led in her time at Triumph Education
Nayeer
Leading the incredibly successful Robogals program in-conjunction with Monash University, Nayeer prides himself in bringing Engineering programs to High School Students all across Melbourne! His exceptional VCE results at Nossal High School has helped him with his tutoring endeavours at Triumph Education since 2022 and being a STEM specialist, his multifaceted specialisations in science and mathematics has helped him lead over 200 lessons to date with us!
Aysha
Whilst starting her double degree of Commerce and Business Analytics in 2024, Aysha dived straight into the Triumph Education with no hesitation. Having worked at the Australian Open, Formula 1 and volunteering for ANZAC Day services, her personability and adaptation skills flourished within the team. Her versatile skills allowed her to conduct lessons at Bunjil Place Library and online - to students over 70kms away with no issue at all. Her students always look forward to their lessons with her as her bubbly personality is often the highlight for them, after a long day of school!
Taherah
Starting in 2018, Taherah dived straight into coaching and tutoring with us. Having to look after her younger siblings most of her life and learning the mannerisms of young children, helped her appeal to Primary School students with ease. Taherah assimilated to the one-on-one teaching environment like a natural, as in her two years with us, she completed over 320 lessons and created her own resources too - for further differentiated teaching. She is now leading her own brand of educational resources which he curates specifically for unique student needs.
Catherine
Following her passion in teaching, Catherine started her Double Degree of Secondary Teaching and Science at Monash University in 2022. Quickly realising that she didn’t want to wait 3 more years to complete her tertiary studies, she started tutoring with us! Specialising in the online format, Catherine tutors students nearly 100kms away from her on a daily basis, still delivering quality teaching virtually. In her spare time, she performs at weddings and other events as an acoustic singer and is passionate about up and coming artists.
Bonnie
Bonnie started tutoring fresh out of High School, in 2017. She ended up leading just over 300 lessons in her time with us. Ranging from classes in Endeavour Hills, Berwick, Pakenham and Nar Nar Goon. She then continued her studies at University and graduated in 2021.
Over 8,200 individual lessons being delivered since the inception of Triumph Education in 2013. No barrier has stood in our way as remote classes during COVID-19, distance education in rural Victoria, in-home one on one and even group sessions have been delivered
Over 160 students and 110 families having had a positive impact through Triumph Education. We don’t believe solely in positive grades, but a wholistic student who enjoys learning and becomes a positive role model for their siblings and friends is our aim
Our community of educators has grown from just one in 2013, to nearly two dozen over the last decade. Ranging from a range of professions such a fully qualified teachers, lawyers, engineers, journalists and social workers - all specialists in their nominated subject matter.
